So picklemered and I decided to live large in the Gold Coast and go for a more pricey hotel than we normally would have, just because you have to somewhere in the whole holiday, right?

So, I took a gamble. Something I wouldn't normally do.

We ended up on top though. WAAY on top.

I mean, sure, it doesn't compare to a hotel in Bali where we could've paid peanuts and sat in the pool and got sloshed.. But it's still gonna be awesome.

$708 later on my mastercard, we've got Perth->Melbourne (to trip) flight, and Brisbane->Perth (home trip) booked!!

So picklemered and I are planning our 22nd Birthday. Ofcourse, originally, we were thinking of going to Bali for a week or so, and her parents wanted to come too (i know! wtf?!)

Anyway, we've decided on doing a flying adventure holiday roadtrip. Over a period of three weeks, the plan so far is to fly over to Melbourne, and from there we're going to hire a car, and trek north to eventually (hopefully) make it to Brisbane.

We're also planning on venturing the 12 hour or so drive north to Townsville, because we want to not only;

I'm working on a travel plan, with picklemered's help, ofcourse... We've got a few things we want to see, like the Big Banana, Big Prawn.. and a heap of mine and her family (okay, so far maybe only one of her's, but lots of mine)..

My sister is really looking forward to meeting me catching up (she hasn't seen me since I was like 5?)
